Laney Crowder
Meet Laney
Laney Crowder is a wife, mother, speaker, Bible study leader, and self-proclaimed matcha latte lover.
In 2017, while attending a women’s conference, Laney experienced a powerful vision from God that would forever change the trajectory of her life. She saw a woman standing in a wheat field, hands lifted high, praising God. Because wheat symbolizes abundance, this vision became the foundation for a Bible study Laney later wrote and began teaching—centered on living the abundant life God promises His people.
Through John 10:10 (“I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly”), believers are reminded of God’s promise of abundance. Yet Laney is quick to share that abundant living doesn’t always look or feel abundant. Life is often marked by long, rainy Waiting Seasons, challenging Plowing Seasons, strenuous Sowing Seasons, and—by God’s grace—unbelievably exciting Harvest Seasons.
In addition to speaking to groups about all things abundant living, Laney leads Life in the Wheatfield, an online community that encourages women to recognize God’s abundance in every season of life, no matter where they find themselves.
After nearly 15 years in Nashville, Tennessee, Laney and her high school sweetheart husband, Corey, recently moved back home to Georgia with their two children to be closer to family. They now live on Lake Oconee, where Laney’s favorite part of the day is watching the sunrise over the water (it looks like a brand new painting every single morning!) with a cute coffee mug in hand.
Speaking Topics
-
While Scripture promises believers an abundant life (John 10:10), it does not promise that life will always feel or appear abundant. Culture offers its own version of abundance, one that often contradicts the truth of God’s Word. Through biblical teaching, personal testimony, and practical encouragement, women are invited to reframe their understanding of abundance, recognize God’s purpose in every season, and trust that He is always at work.
-
Rejoicing is a cute idea and fairly easy to execute when life is going well—but how do we truly rejoice when life is hard? This message unpacks what it means to rejoice in ALL circumstances. Women will be encouraged to rejoice while worried, rejoice in the wilderness, rejoice while waiting, and rejoice even while weeping, discovering how God’s presence and promises can transform every season of life into an opportunity for lasting joy.
-
In life, we all have three options of who we can trust: we can trust the world and its fleeting promises; we can trust ourselves and our desire for control; or we can trust God and His actual ability to control our lives. Only one of these options will lead to abundant living. This message explores the original Hebrew and Greek words for “trust”, offering a deeper, more accurate picture of what it means to fully put our trust in God.
-
When we let the world’s voice speak louder than God’s, it’s easy to start believing we don’t matter. In this message, Laney dives into who God says we are, helping women anchor their identity in His truth rather than the world’s shifting standards.
